Александр Александрович Широков

 The image you recently posted on the Russian Wikipedia site for Full Cavalier Николай Николаевич Широков is not of him, but rather that of Senior Sergeant Александр Александрович Широков.  The latter was a recipient of the Order of Glory Second Class, two Orders of Glory Third Class and two Bravery Medals (as his image depicts).  Unfortunately, he was never officially recognized as a Full Cavalier of the Order of Glory.  At one point in time, the RIAN site from where you sourced the image did in fact identify the picture as that of Александр Александрович Широков. @PlanespotterA320 Yes, over 400 Full Cavaliers of the Order of Glory attained that status after the war (some as late as 1996) when erroneous repeat awards of a given Order of Glory class were amended/upgraded. The book I cited above lays it all out in great detail. While they had been awarded three Orders of Glory during the war, since they were not of the order's three distinct classes, they were not considered Full Cavaliers. The image you posted is one of these guys. Unfortunately for him, he was not among the 400 post-war corrections as the Soviet and later Russian authorities never detected the error in his case. Again, the RIAN site had his image correctly identified/captioned at one point in the past - that's where I first came upon it. @PlanespotterA320 While I was able to remove the incorrect image from the Николай Николаевич Широков Russia Wikipedia page, as you uploaded the original image on Commons, I could not access it. You'll need to check into that. Unfortunately, however, the warheroes.ru site has already copied and uploaded this incorrect image on its Николай Николаевич Широков Full Cavalier page having likely come upon it on the Russia Wikipedia site. I actually had talked to Simonov at warheroes.ru about the image, that's why it was there. (We both thought it was Nikolai not Aleksandr). I will take care of explaining the mistake to him. (I feel bad because I told him I traced a photo for a person without a photo, but now it known to be a case of mistaken identity). @PlanespotterA320 Sorry, my bad ref where you originally posted the image. I noted, however, that Russia wiki has now flagged the image for removal. While it's a great image, sadly it doesn't officially count as one of a Full Cavalier. Ref RIAN, I can only assume that someone contacted them and suggested the captioning on their web site was incorrect as there was no Full Cavalier with that first and middle name and informed them there was one named Nikolay Nikolayevich. It appears RIAN then caved and changed it disregarding the original photographer's captioning as recorded in 1945. Had they exercised a bit more due diligence, it would have quickly become apparent it was not Nikolay Nikolayevich given the wrong decorations and rank. Nikolay Nikolayevich was a sergeant major and not senior sergeant when recommended for his Order of Glory First Class. Shade Ruff (talk) 18:38, 9 September 2018 (UTC)

Can you rate the articles of Torre-Pacheco and La Unión, Murcia, please?

Both articles have been rated with the category Stub but they deserve at least the Start class. I proposed for their rating in the corresponding section. The article for La Unión, Murcia has not received any answer. The article of Torre-Pacheco a message that it needs orthograph and grammar corrections was written, but despite that its mistakes have been removed, its category has not been changed.
