Plato is a genus of spiders of the Theridiosomatidae family. They are distributed throughout the Trinidad & Tobago, Brazil, Venezuela, French Guiana and Ecuador.

[1] It is found in Australia and nearby islands.[2] They are commonly known as Tasmanian Multipedes.[3]

Species

According to World Spider Catalogue, there are 9 currently accepted species with the new discovery of three species in 2018.[4]
