Husna Banu Khanam (d. May 30, 2006)[1] was a Bangladeshi educationist, writer and Nazrul Geeti exponent.[2] She was awarded Ekushey Padak in 1999 and Begum Rokeya Padak in 2004 by the Government of Bangladesh.
Background
Khanam had two brothers Fazle Lohani and Fateh Lohani.[3]
Education and career
Khanam studied in Begum Rokeya Shakhawat Memorial School.[4] She served as a faculty member of Home Economics College in Dhaka.[4]

Death and legacy
Khanam died on May 30, 2006. A commemorative book titled Pathikrit Sangskritik Bektitya Husna Banu Khanam on her life was published in August 2007.[5]
