Mahua Mukherjee performing Gaudiya Nritya

Gaudiya Nritya is a Bengali school of Indian dance.[1] It originates from Gaur, West Bengal. It is not recognised as an Indian classical dance by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, but by the Indian Ministry of Culture.

The dance form has been substantially revived by Mahua Mukherjee, head of the department of dance at Rabindra Bharati University.[2]
