Laura Rodriguez Dulanto (1872-1919) was the first female physician in Peru. [1] She was also the first woman in Peru to enter university, in May 1892, and finally vowed as physician and surgeon on October 25th, 1900, at the Faculty of Medicine of San Marcos University. [2]
