Micronesian American is an American citizen descended from people from the Federated States of Micronesia or Micronesian having American naturalization. According to the 2010 census, they constituted a population of 8,185 people. The Micronesians of the Federated States of Micronesia are from the four states that make up the country. Most of them, 4,211 Micronesians, are from Chuuk. The rest of the population consists in 2,060 people from Pohnpei, 1,018 from Yap and only 906 people from Kosrae. [2]
