Harry S. Fairhurst was a prominent architect in Edwardian Manchester. He was responsible for many of the cities iconic warehouses and built both Blackfriars House the headquarters of the Lancashire Cotton Corporation and Arkwright House the headquarters of the English Sewing Cotton Company. [1]
