The DuMont Evening News was an American news program which aired on the now-defunct DuMont Television Network. The program was hosted by Morgan Beatty and was the DuMont Network's third (and final) attempt to enter the news business.

The network's previous attempts at successful news broadcasts, The Walter Compton News (1947-1948) and I.N.S. Telenews/Camera Headlines (1948-1949), had proved unpopular. The 15-minute news program aired from 7:15-7:30 PM (Eastern Standard Time) immediately following DuMont's popular Captain Video show. When DuMont was forced to cancel most of their remaining programs in April 1955 because of financial problems, the DuMont Evening News was among the series axed.
