Chekavar is an upcoming Malayalam language film written and directed by Sajeevan. It stars Indrajith and Kalabhavan Mani in lead roles. Its music has been composed by Rahul Raj with lyrics penned by Anil Panachooran. Filming has been completed and the film is to be released in July 2010. Indrajith and Mani play the roles of younger and elder brothers respectively who fights each other for their siblings. Indrajith plays the role of a police officer while Mani plays a goon.
