World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup

The IRB Pacific nations tournament will be staged in the summers of 2006, 2007 and 2008. It is part of a £28m IRB investment programme for developing countries.

The Junior All Blacks, New Zealand's second XV, will take on Japan, Samoa, Fiji and Tonga. The teams will play each other home and away before the top two play meet in the final. Australia was invited to take part but decided not to send a team as they wanted focus on their domestic competition.
