Welcome!

Hi Bakbik1234! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay.

I've noticed that you've expressed an interest in the Palestine/Israel conflict. Unfortunately, due to a history of conflict and disruptive editing it has been designated a contentious topic and is subject to some strict rules.

The rule that affects you most as new or IP editor is the prohibition on making any edit related to Palestine/Israel conflict unless you are logged into an account and that account is at least 30 days old and has made at least 500 edits.

This prohibition is broadly construed, so it includes edits such as adding the reaction of a public figure concerning the conflict to their article or noting the position of a company or organization as it relates to the conflict.

The exception to this rule is that you may request a specific change to an article on the talk page of that article or at this page. Please ensure that your requested edit complies with our neutral point of view and reliable sourcing policies, and if the edit is about a living person our policies on biographies of living people as well.

Any edits you make contrary to these rules are likely to be reverted, and repeated violations can lead to your being blocked from editing.

Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

If you continue violating WP:ECR you will be blocked. Please take a moment to read some of the information linked above. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 02:28, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why can't I send this message:
Antisemitism is a form of racism; discrimination against ethnic Jews, regardless of their religious beliefs. The belief that the Jewish race is inferior led Nazis to murder six million ethnic Jews in the Holocaust.
The governing charter of Hamas, "The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement", openly dedicates Hamas to genocide against the Jewish people. In their own words: "The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (evidently a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews."
Hamas claims that the French revolution, the Russian revolution, colonialism and both world wars were created as a Jewish Zionist conspiracy and that the Freemasons, Rotary Clubs and the Lions are Zionist fronts. Hamas also refers to the fraudulent Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an antisemitic text purporting to describe a plan to achieve global domination by the Jewish people. Hamas also says that Jewish people are "warmongering" and should be fought against until all of them are dead.
If it's not enough, Hamas also called the systematic murder of Jews during the Holocaust "a lie invented by the Zionists", and called the teaching of the Holocaust to Palestinian children a "war crime". Bakbik1234 (talk) 02:32, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Because there is already a discussion on that talk page to establish consensus on that point. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 03:14, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Per the notifications above and WP:ARBECR, you may only make edit requests at AI articles and recent edits have been reverted. Selfstudier (talk) 17:14, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

According to the rules, I'm allowed to make edit requests. Bakbik1234 (talk) 17:47, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Diff 1 and Diff 2 are not edit requests. Selfstudier (talk) 17:50, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Of course they are. I'm requesting antisemitism to be added to their ideology. Bakbik1234 (talk) 17:51, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Then make an edit request saying that, lengthy justifications and explanations are not required since the subject has been discussed already. Selfstudier (talk) 17:55, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It would make more sense to explain why you want to add X to their ideology than to not explain why. Bakbik1234 (talk) 17:56, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As a non ECR editor, you are only permitted to make edit requests, not participate in consensus forming processes. If the subject is of great interest to you then I recommend getting 500 edits so as to permit your participation. Selfstudier (talk) 18:04, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So I'm allowed to make edit requests but I'm not allowed to explain them? Bakbik1234 (talk) 18:06, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The edit request needs to be straightforward, anything complex will likely not get done. Selfstudier (talk) 18:14, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think I was very straightforward; sayins that Muslims need to kill the Jews and that the Holocaust is "a lie invented by the Zionists" is very antisemitic. The English Wikipedia shows a whitewashed version of he:חמאס. Bakbik1234 (talk) 18:23, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have answered your questions, I don't really want to debate the issue, thanks. Selfstudier (talk) 18:30, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To enforce an arbitration decision, you have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of 48 hours. You are welcome to edit once the block expires; however, please note that the repetition of similar behavior may result in a longer block or other sanctions.

If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing blocks (specifically this section) before appealing. Place the following on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Please copy my appeal to the [[WP:AE|arbitration enforcement noticeboard]] or [[WP:AN|administrators' noticeboard]]. Your reason here OR place the reason below this template. ~~~~}}. If you intend to appeal on the arbitration enforcement noticeboard, I suggest you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template on your talk page so it can be copied over easily. You may also appeal directly to me (by email), before or instead of appealing on your talk page.

Reminder to administrators: In May 2014, ArbCom adopted the following procedure instructing administrators regarding Arbitration Enforcement blocks: "No administrator may modify a sanction placed by another administrator without: (1) the explicit prior affirmative consent of the enforcing administrator; or (2) prior affirmative agreement for the modification at (a) AE or (b) AN or (c) ARCA (see "Important notes" [in the procedure]). Administrators modifying sanctions out of process may at the discretion of the committee be desysopped."

Why am I getting blocked for making an edit request and participating in the discussion? Bakbik1234 (talk) 17:44, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) rights in Israel are considered the most developed in the Middle East and *Asia*

why not? Compare to Asia, Israel is the most progressive. 84.110.218.178 (talk) 16:41, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

LGBT rights in Taiwan are considered the most developed in Asia. Bakbik1234 (talk) 17:06, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
By who? In LGBT Equality Index, Israel gets **legal index** that higher than Taiwan. 84.110.218.178 (talk) 20:29, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

And for the record - Nepal get higher score. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.110.218.178 (talk) 20:32, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
