Date of museum?[edit]

If this museum opened in 1981 (the Andover Museum) or 1986 (the Museum of the Iron Age), what was the Andover Museum mentioned in newspaper reports from 1866 to 1961? It contained (as gleaned from newspaper articles) the coat which Hardy took off and wrapped round the dying Nelson; weathervanes; a Roman fireplace from the excavation at Vindonum; Roman coins; and a collection of stuffed birds. Possibly another museum, although I can find only this.----Pontificalibus 12:45, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
