The file describes a security attack on the XML format. One of the methods of the attack includes using the file: schema. Specifying it triggered the filter, however this was inside a code formatting and did not link to anything.

I’m not sure we can make a suitable change here without missing a lot of hits. This seems like a fairly one off instance. A glance through the hits shows that this is a rare false positive. Perhaps by just excluding categories from 380? It still hit on 339 to apply a tag, which would garner some attention from RC patrollers, and I would wager a guess that most vandals aren't going to create a category just to vandalize a page, given the far more enterprising methods available with less hassle.
