Libyan Post Telecommunications & Information Technology Company (LPTIC) (Arabic: الشركة الليبية للبريد والاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات القابضة) is a holding company, was established in accordance with the decision of the Prime Minister's number (63) for the year 2005 to be the owner of major communications companies.[1]

Libya Post Company is a Libyan joint stock company having its legal personality and independent financial liability. In 2019 it was given permission to start the first phase of Libya’s postcode project that has been decades in the making.[2] It is affiliated to the LPITC.[1] Libya Post was admitted into Universal Postal Union membership on 24 October 2013.[3]
