:I nominate Cassiopeia to be Editor of the Week for tirelessly volunteering to train new counter vandalism patrollers and new page patrollers. Cass often tutors several students at once and, alongside tutoring, also engages in heavy counter vandalism and main space editing alongside other projects. A great trainer and mentor for many at NPP school and at CVUA. A true all-rounder, incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, I think they are deserving of recognition. Setting Wikipedia time to your time zone

Wikipedia's servers record activity based on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC for short). You can set your user preferences to display time for the time zone you are in.

If you do this, Wikipedia will show all times in Recent changes, page histories, and contribution histories based on your local time zone. However, when you sign a talk page with ~~~~, the timestamp is created in text, so it has to be displayed in UTC. Automated logs such as image file uploads are also shown in server time (UTC).

To show other users what time zone you are in, you could even add a time userbox to your own user page.

Imcdc Sources are reliable but (1) most of the not independent as they are interviews articles and (2) not significant coverage for Bangtao mma center but about the fighters. For such I would considered the article at the current stage is not notable under GNG or NORG notability guidelines. We need at least 3 more IRS (independent, reliable sources) that the sources talk about the subject (Bangtao) in depth and in length to meet the notability guidelines. Recent changes

  • Kartographer maps can now show geopoints from Wikidata, via QID or SPARQL query. Previously, this was only possible for geoshapes and geolines. [1] [2]
  • The Coolest Tool Award 2022 is looking for nominations. You can recommend tools until 12 October.

Changes later this week

  • The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 4 October. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 5 October. It will be on all wikis from 6 October (calendar).
  • Talk pages on the mobile site will change at the Arabic, Bangla, Chinese, French, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Korean, and Vietnamese Wikipedias. They should be easier to use and provide more information. (Last week's release was delayed) [3] [4]
  • The scribunto-console API module will require a CSRF token. This module is documented as internal and use of it is not supported. [5]
  • The Vector 2022 skin will become the default across the smallest Wikimedia projects. Learn more.
