Jean-Jacques Naudet (born in Paris in 19451) is a French journalist and iconographer, publication director of L'Œil de la photographie, an online journal dedicated to photography.

Biography

He was the editor-in-chief of the French magazine Photo from 1976 to 1988.

He is a correspondent for the Hachette-Filipacchi group in the United States.

He joined the jury of the Planche(s) Contact festival from its creation in 2010 and was chief editor of Le Journal de la Photographie until 2013

Personal life

He has two sons, Jules Naudet and Gédéon Naudet, who made thinly recording of the first jet striking the World Trade Center on the morning of the attacks of September 11, 2001,[1] and from the footage directed New York: September 11, awarded two Emmy Awards in 2002.
