Pending changes reviewer

User:Rodrigo Valequez

Greetings, I’d like to be a pending changes reviewer to help suppress/prevent vandalism. I’ve been reverting vandalism on the recent changes page and believe to have understood what qualifies as vandalism and what doesn’t. I’ve also read Wikipedia’s policy on vandalism and the guideline on reviewing. Thanks, Rodrigo Valequez(🗣) 14:20, 27 March 2020 (UTC) Rodrigo Valequez(🗣) 14:20, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. Based off recent discussions on your talk page, I do not think you have been here long enough to be trusted with extra permissions. Your lack of understanding of the 3RR policy is concerning, especially when the requested role will see you revert people constantly. Anarchyte (talk | work) 07:19, 5 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User:AaqibAnjum

I am already an AfC Reviewer. I have done anti vandalism related works at Muneeb-ur-Rehman recently and I think I qualify for having pending changes reviewer right. Allow me to fight vandalism. I mostly watch the articles about Muslim scholars, and thus I can do my part there. Aaqib Anjum Aafī (talk) 00:38, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Am I being left out? I have also got rollback rights temporarily. Would do a bit more if I get Pending changes reviewer right. Aaqib Anjum Aafī (talk) 23:03, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Done, though I was hesitant, hence why it will expire on the same day as rollback. I fail to see a true need for extra tools in your current situation. You hardly undo edits. Please re-apply when both roles expire, and please demonstrate a true need for a permanent role. Anarchyte (talk | work) 07:31, 5 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User:Antila333

I am very active reverting vandalism ever since I joined Wikipedia, the reviewer rights would help me to review pending changes and revert unconstructive edits. Antila333 (talk) 10:22, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Done. You're still new to Wikipedia, so please reapply for a permanent role in a month's time. Good luck. Anarchyte (talk | work) 07:36, 5 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User:NedFausa

The pending changes backlog is very high. I would like to help reduce it. NedFausa (talk) 18:10, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. While your intentions may be pure, it would feel like overstepping to issue advanced user rights after the dispute that took place on your talk page. You have been warned twice by the same admin twice in the last couple of months, and if you're not capable of discussing matters civilly around administrators and experienced editors, I am uncomfortable giving you permissions that would force you to interact with people that have never edited before. Please consider reapplying later. Anarchyte (talk | work) 07:55, 5 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User:Amkgp

Please grant the request to tackle growing number of WP:VANDAL, WP:CV and WP:NOT . Thank you. Amkgp (talk) 06:23, 5 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm a bit concerned that you want to screen for copyright violations when your talk page is full of notifications for apparent copyright violations. Do you have an explanation for this? ~Swarm~ {sting} 17:35, 5 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
~Swarm~ {sting} In past there were for images. I also committed the mistake with a page too. Thereafter, I have understood my fault and their consequences and have tried not commit such mistakes again. Now I am extra cautious with WP:CV issues. If you still doubt my integrity. I drop tackling WP:CV for now. Will only focus WP:VAND and WP:NOT. Amkgp (talk) 19:17, 5 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Am I left? Amkgp (talk) 04:29, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A couple of pages on my watchlist have PCPP (like Sanskrit or Persian language), and while many drive-by edits by IPs and novices are disruptive which means I can revert them to an accepted version, sometimes there are also decent edits, which I would like to be able to confirm. We have like over let's say 125K active people who can edit semi-protected pages, and yet we still have an SPER backlog that hardly ever reaches <15. Okay then, I'll do SPERS . And I've done SPERs to the point to where I think I can do pending changes. ~7K pending chenges reviewer, and yet we have a high PC backlog. I might join in doing some PC reviews. PC is similar to SPER. Can I Log In's (talk) page 05:45, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Can I Log In: Can you please provide examples of your SPER experience? Anarchyte (talk | work) 13:07, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Let's say I've done 90 edit requests. Unfortunately, unconfirmed users, although they are new, their SPER gets declined most of the time. Out of the ones that are accepted, since I can easily isolate those from my contributions in talk space (excluding template talk) w/ navigations popups:
And that's only for accpeted. The rest are either missed accepteds or declines. And numbers aren't the answer. As for the accepted, trivial minor request were answered straight away. Other that are more detailed and provided a source, I looked at the source provided to see if it was reliable and properly sourced, and if not I sometimes tryied to find one on my own. Others that are not sourced at all, I try to find a source to support the request. With pending changes, the edit request is "right there" so it's like a one click approve or deny. I would simpily do what I do with edit request. {{replyto}} Can I Log In's (talk) page 19:05, 6 April 2020 (UTC); edited 00:05, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I actively fight against Vandal & Spam. And I have a good understanding of WP:RPC. Tatupiplu'talk 00:25, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Be careful with her. There is no discussion whatsoever and are many pages being marked for speedy deletion which do not qualify. KittenKlub (talk) 10:19, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
