To effectuate moves in broadcasting article titles, particularly in re: call signs. In the last year, I've requested at least 7 moves that required RM/TR or admin request on IRC (deleting the redirect at KHBC-TV to allow a move of a userspace draft; KSQB (FM) -> KHTZ (FM); location swap KZTQ (AM) + KBZZ (AM); location swap XHR-FM + XHLN-FM; KVOK-FM (defunct) -> KVOK-FM; WDOW (defunct) -> WDOW (AM); WKFD (defunct) -> WKFD). I'd like page mover rights to help with new page review - I expect to use it to suppress redirects when draftifying or moving an incorrectly-namespaced page (so PMRC 3 and 6). I don't intend to perform controversial page moves, and when in doubt I'll ask at WP:RM. Not a pressing need, but a slight reduction to admin workload. creffett (talk) 03:24, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to request this permission primarily to avoid having to tag so many redirects with R2 after draftifying articles. This will be particularly useful with my NPP activity. I have participated in several discussions on proposed moves (most recent one), as well as the occasional technical/controversial move request at WP:RM. — MarkH21talk 20:39, 10 January 2020 (UTC) — MarkH21talk 20:39, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Done, temporary granting until April; only a handful of R2 moves but could pick up. Primefac (talk) 23:50, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
