If you are requesting this access for a special event, please include the date(s) of your event and a link to the event page if possible.
Newer editors will receive this permission temporarily for an event. Established editors involved with outreach may be granted access without expiration.
Editors who currently have account creator only for outreach purposes will usually have that permission removed when the event coordinator user group is granted.
If your account creations will use the Programs & Events Dashboard this access is no longer required unless you will also be manually flagging your attendees as "confirmed".

I have contacted Wikimedia Australia because I am organising an edit-a-thon and I was directed to this page in order to apply to be an event coordinator.

I am organising an Edit-a-Thon for women in science at the University of New South Wales on September 16th 2019. I would like to request to become an Event Coordinator and to have an exemption from the maximum number of allowable new editor accounts for the event.

The event will host 30 - 60 editors.
