Rollback

Hello, I am AryanTheArticleArtist, I am requesting rollback rights so I can use tools like STiki to help reverted vandalism. I have been going through the CVU/A Academy course with @Girth Summit:. Legitimacy: [1] - Under List of available trainers.

I have a lot of experience with the tool Twinkle, therefore I think that it would be appropriate to move on to STiki. AɾყαɳTԋҽAɾƚιƈʅҽAɾƚιʂƚ 15:55, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I am indeed working through the CVUA training with AryanTheArticleArtist - training page here. I actually suggested that they apply for special permission for Stiki via Wikipedia talk:STiki, rather than full rollback rights at the moment; however, I believe that they can be trusted with the rights, on their undertaking not to use them for anything other than accessing Stiki for now. I will likewise undertake to work with them closely, and to make the responsibilities of rollback clear. GirthSummit (blether) 16:15, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I would like to apply for the Rollback flag. Using the Rollback feature, I would like to revert obvious/absolutely clear vandalism edits. Huggle application will help me to find Vandalism and revert that edit quickly. If you want to check my AIV and UAA log, then please see my Dashboard. If you grant this flag, it will be very helpful for me to clear or revert obvious vandalism from Wikipedia. Regards, Xain36 {talk} 17:55, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I have concerns about how Xain36 would use these rights - we had a discussion at User talk:DannyS712/Archive 3#RB, but to be short: this user is in a hurry. In this edit, looking through the history of User:Xain36/twinkleoptions.js makes it almost certain that the edit was marked as vandalism, which it does not appear to be. If such an edit were rolled back, I believe it would qualify as a misuse of rollback. 1 week ago (28 February), Xain36 said Are you CVUA's trainer? Need a trainer for gain more knowledge. - at this point, I believe they are not ready for rollback rights. --DannyS712 (talk) 22:10, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@DannyS712: I think I already clarified about that edit in your talk page. Also, you need to check my recent contributions. I believe an administrator will review my anti-vandalism logs/contributions and they will decide what to do for this request. Xain36 {talk} 00:54, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Your clarification was that you were in a hurry, like I noted above; hence my concern --DannyS712 (talk) 00:56, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Not done owing to lack of editing experience Salvio Let's talk about it! 10:37, 14 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm one of Wikipedia's earliest members, with about 30,000 edits. I've been editing since 2005, with many hundreds of quality articles created, mostly on linguistics. I would like to use rollback to help counter obvious vandalism or mistakes, particularly for the articles that I am watching. I stay out of edit wars and thorny issues. — Stevey7788 (talk) 02:42, 12 March 2019 (UTC) — Stevey7788 (talk) 02:42, 12 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

To whom it may concern: I'd like to request permission for rollback rights because I'm interested in using Huggle to up my anti-vandalism speed. I diff browsed on Recent Changes by hand for a little while, then started with Twinkle---Huggle seems like the next step. I hope my contributions evidence a reasonable commitment to anti-vandalism---however, if you feel I need additional practice, I am happy to do so. Thank you for your consideration.
