It curves to the north-northeast and travels under a railroad bridge that carries railroad tracks of Norfolk Southern Railway. It then travels on a bridge over those railroad tracks. It crosses over those railroad tracks a third time. It curves to the west-northwest and travels under another railroad bridge, that carries those railroad tracks, for its fourth crossing of the railroad. The highway crosses over Cedar Branch and then meets its northern terminus, a second intersection with KY 33 (Shakertown Road).[1]
