I’m interested in aiding with the fulfillment of {{edit template-protected}} requests as well as adding machine-readable markers to some template-protected license templates as part of the File metadata cleanup drive. I am very familiar with both the template parser syntax and Lua code. I meet the first four general guidelines as I’ve been an editor for more than ten years, have ~5000 edits, made ~200 edits to the Template and Module namespaces, and have no blocks or 3RR violations.

While not certain, I think I meet the two suggested guidelines for demonstrating familiarity with the care and responsibility required when dealing with high-risk templates. I’ve edited the sandbox version of at least five protected templates (e.g, Template:PD-US-no notice/sandbox, Template:Attribution/sandbox, Module:Webarchive/sandbox, Module:Citation/CS1/Identifiers/sandbox, and Module:Citation/CS1/Configuration/sandbox). I’ve requested about five edits to protected templates (one to Template:PD-US-no notice, one to Template:Attribution, two to Template:Self, and one to Module:Citation/CS1).

In addition, while perhaps not relevant to en.WP, as a Commons administrator I have made ~1000 edits to the Commons Module and Template namespaces and fulfilled protected edit requests on the behalf of editors. —RP88 (talk) 06:08, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
