I feel that I hold a good understanding of Wikipedia's core policies (WP:BLP, WP:OR, WP:NPOV, etc.); I've read WP:VAND and WP:RVW in full as well. Frankly, it pains me to see articles at Special:PendingChanges awaiting review for (sometimes) hours on end, and not being able to do anything about it, so I'd like reviewer rights to be able to handle them. I am familiar with the WP:BLP, have warned and reverted vandalism on multiple occasions, including having my own user page vandalised in retaliation against such warnings, unsurprisingly. Familiar with copyright requirements and need for sourced content.
