I have reverted vandalism from IPs and users who made tests, added unsourced content, and making purely disruptive edits to articles here. I have been doing this for about a month now. TheGreatestLuvofAll (talk) 15:44, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
- I see that you not consistently warning editors when you revert their edits (e.g. 1, 2, 3). Why? Are you aware that we have tools such as Twinkle or Ultraviolet that make this extremely easy? -Fastily 04:17, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
- I don’t want it anymore. Please remove this request TheGreatestLuvofAll (talk) 17:45, 6 April 2024 (UTC)

I meet the requirements, and I think that rollback rights could help me work more effectively on contrasting vandalism. Kind regards 14 novembre (talk) 🇮🇹 15:45, 30 March 2024 (UTC)

rollback
isn't going to help you leave notifications to editors when you revert their edits. Can you please comment on why you haven't been consistently warning editors and how you'll be improving on this? -Fastily 09:36, 7 April 2024 (UTC)- @Fastily I sometimes thought mistakenly that notifying users was not that important. However, I have understood it is and I will be more careful in notifying users. Kind regards 14 novembre (talk) 🇮🇹 13:42, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for confirming. Admins use warnings for additional context and/or to track disruptive individuals, so it's very important to leave them for every revert you make. Done -Fastily 20:20, 7 April 2024 (UTC)

I believe that I can more easily combat vandalism as I already have been doing (see Contribs) by having the access to this permission. Sink Cat (talk) 20:17, 31 March 2024 (UTC)

Hi, i've been patrolling vandalism for some time, on recent changes and filter log, and wanted to request rollback to use other tools like huggle or antivandal, as well as using my current tools better. Thanks! begocc questions? 10:00, 2 April 2024 (UTC)

- I think that might be due to me accidentally going back to the previous page (recent changes) before the message saves from the UV menu. My mistake. begocc questions? 12:22, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
- Great, thanks for confirming. Please ensure that you are consistently leaving warnings and/or notifications to editors when reverting. Done -Fastily 20:20, 7 April 2024 (UTC)

I have been editing Wikipedia for some time. I am now an active user, and I take part in a lot of activities, one of which is anti vandalism. I love helping out on WIkipedia and I love to do RC patrol. I currently use RTRC, but would love to move over to Huggle, which I have been interested in using for a while. I would love to be given this chance, and I will ensure that I work hard on performing quality RC patrol, ensuring that I leave messages to users as I do so. - Not done I noticed you started actively reverting vandalism a little over a week ago. While I appreciate your enthusiasm, I'd like to see you spend more time gaining experience fighting vandalism before assigning you advanced permissions. Keep up the good work, and consider reapplying in a month. Also, please ensure that you are consistently warning editors when you revert their edits (I recommend using tools such as Twinkle or Ultraviolet which makes this extremely easy). Thanks, Fastily 08:57, 5 April 2024 (UTC)

I am requesting rollback rights as I want to start using tools, like Huggle or AntiVandal, to speed up my process. I have done over 200 main space edits and have spent lots of time patrolling the recent changes page. Thanks. CCWikiMan (talk) 13:08, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- Not done I noticed you make a handful of edits, and then drop off for months at a time. While I appreciate your enthusiasm, I'd like to see you spend at least a month consistently patrolling RecentChanges (Twinkle & Ultraviolet can help with that) before reapplying. Also, please ensure that you are always warning editors when you revert their edits. Thanks, Fastily 08:57, 5 April 2024 (UTC)

Reason for requesting rollback rights JustAnAmateurEditor1 (talk) 00:22, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
I have reverted a decent amount of vandalism and disruptive edits using Twinkle's rollback feature and have always warned vandals. I have also gotten many spam pages tagged for speedy deletion. To speed up removing vandalism, I want to use tools like Huggle.
- Not done. Per WP:ROLLBACK:
a request is unlikely to be successful without a contribution history that demonstrates an ability to distinguish well-intentioned edits with minor issues from unconstructive vandalism
. Regrettably we're not there yet: see for example this incorrect tag, this incorrect revert which was then incorrectly reported to AIV and this revert of a routine edit which you then flagged as "unconstructive". You do also have plenty of good reverts and good edits including appropriate referrals to UAA among other noticeboards. But the overall error rate is presently too high for the granting of a faster reversion tool. -- Euryalus (talk) 00:19, 5 April 2024 (UTC)

I regularly works to revert a huge amount of vandalism as well as good faith but disruptive edits in various articles. I have been doing this since few years. I also warned such editors while reverting their deliberate wrong contribution as and when required. I think rollback rights could help me out to protect wikipedia articles effectively from vandalism. Pinakpani (talk) 07:55, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
- Not done I reviewed your contributions and found little to no recent anti-vandalism work. If you're still interested in this tool then please spend at least a month actively patrolling RecentChanges (Twinkle & Ultraviolet can help with that) before reapplying. Also, please ensure that you are consistently warning editors when you revert their edits. Thanks, Fastily 08:57, 5 April 2024 (UTC)

Hello! I am the Master of Hedgehogs, and I am requesting Rollback permissions on the English Wikipedia, because it will help with fighting vandals. I have made more than 200 mainspace edits, and I use Lupin's Anti-Vandal Tool, Real-Time Recent Changes, and normal recent changes patrol to look for vandalism edits and revert them using tools like Twinkle and RedWarn. After reverting, I make sure to warn the user properly. - Master of Hedgehogs (converse) (hate that hedgehog!) 12:01, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
