Shortcuts
Please review Wikipedia:Rollback before making a request. Applicants with fewer than 200 mainspace edits are unlikely to be granted this right. More importantly, applicants must have a measurable track record of counter-vandalism and no recent history of edit warring. The counter-vandalism training program is available if you wish to gain experience in handling vandalism.

I have been editing Wikipedia for many years and have made over 12000 edits in the mainspace. I understand Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, specially patrolling possible vandalism, reversing some of them on my own and/or in case of recurrence, reporting to other users and/or administrators so that they can take the necessary measures. Hi Luks25, despite your editing experience of over a decade and a five-digit number of edits, it seems – looking at your list of undos – that you're yet to establish the required "measurable track record of counter-vandalism". I'd like to request rollback rights to assist in the counter-vandalism work I've been doing for the last couple months, primarily while reviewing pending changes, but also in limited cases while reviewing at AfC. I am currently learning more about dealing with vandalism at CVUA. Hi. I am fairly new to editing on Wikipedia, but I would like to request the permissions for rollback rights as I undo vandals edits. I am active on pages regarding meteorology but if any other vandalism is spotted on a page I am reading, I will make sure to undo it. Thanks for your time! I also by mistake have undone multiple wrong edits on an IP account which I heavily regret because I was active on that specific IP but hopefully I am qualified enough for this feature!

I started my wikipedia account by reverting vandalism and I continue to this day. I have pending changes reviewer rights and I have most of my edits from reverting vandalism.  Done as a one month trial. I'm hesitant to grant indefinitely based on the discussions on your talk page, and the occasional incorrect revert. This may be a bit premature but I'm going to be bold and ask for rollback rights.

I've been patrolling recent changes, and have been using Twinkle to revert vandalism and warn users where required.

I did install Huggle and while this does seem to be much more efficient than the Recent Changes page, it is read-only without the rollback permissions. Reshadp (talk) 04:29, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done There are a few recent reverts where it would have been useful for you to have provided an edit summary. Using rollback is only when it's unambiguously vandalism; if there is a need to explain why a revert took place, the undo tool should be used (like here, where the term "builder" is used later. The reason why I need Rollback rights is that it is easier when reverting vandalism done by a single user with several vandal edits on a given page than manually undoing each revision.
