Rollback

User:64andtim

I have spent over a few days fighting vandalism with RedWarn ever since my account was autoconfirmed, and I have decided to request if rollback is suitable enough to fight vandalism some more. I hereby accept that if I misue the right various times then I risk having it revoked, and I wouldn't use it to revert any good faith edits (if at all) since rollback does not come with a customizable edit summary (if I accidentally do I'd self revert my edits with an edit summary), thank you. 64andtim (💬 and 📜) 18:26, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not yet. Sorry but two weeks is not sufficient tenure. I'd normally look for at least a couple of months. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 14:43, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

User:Xeverything11

It's been 2 weeks since the last request, so I an here to request the rollback right again. For this user, I have made over 3,000 edits on all Wikimedia wikis (1,000+ on enwiki) and I am a reviewer on Wikibooks, which grants me rollback right on that wiki. I use RedWarn 16.1 and SWViewer 1.4 to patrol vandalism on enwiki. So I would like to grant me rollback right on enwiki. Xeverything11 (talk) 13:03, 19 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Your request does not address the reason you were previously declined. Edit count, rights on other wikis, and use of anti-vandalism tools are all god things but what we're mainly concerned with is the ability to distinguish vandalism from good-faith edits. User:FenrisAureus

I have been active for over a month and have made over 350 mainspace edits, mostly reverting vandalism. I have been using RedWarn to fight vandalism for some time and understand the relevant policies. I am applying for access to rollback in order to use huggle so that I may more effectively fight vandalism. - FenrisAureus (talk) 01:02, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

 Done, for a one-month trial. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 15:47, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

User:SurferSquall

Every day I am here undoing vandalism/disruptive edits on airline, airport and aircraft related articles. Rollback would make this job easier. Thanks SurferSquall (talk) 02:38, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

I've been editing wikipedia for over 9 years and have 13,000+ edits. I often encounter vandalism and it would be useful to have rollback privileges to help. Thanks! LicenceToCrenellate (talk) 10:08, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

User:ChrisWx

Hello, I am here to request rollback, as I was told to request again if I reverted vandalism more frequently. Since the previous request, I have dealt with much more vandalism and am patrolling recent changes more commonly, so I believe I have enough experience now in anti-vandal work to gain rollback tool rights. I believe that rollback could be used to revert vandalism more quickly and effectively than the current tools that I use to do so, and it would be useful in instances of persistent vandalism, and it will only be used for obvious vandalism, while reversions with an explanation would be used instead if they required a reasoning for reversion. Please let me know if there are any issues with this, thanks. ChrisWx (talk - contribs) 17:55, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Former rollbacker who resigned ½ year ago due to inactivity in CV. I, however, now wish to again become active in CV using Huggle, SWviewer, and the such. Thank you, CLYDE TALK TO ME/STUFF DONE (please mention me on reply) 22:12, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have spent a lot of my time on Wikipedia fighting vandalism, mostly with RedWarn and Twinkle. I'd like to use AntiVandal for this in the future, and rollbacks would come in handy to deal with promotional editing (which I have encountered frequently) as well. With over 1000 edits to the article namespace and a history of civility and helpfulness, I believe I am well-qualified for this tool. Actualcpscm (talk) 16:01, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback will help me fight vandalism and will be extremely helpful Cyberwolf434344 (talk) 17:31, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bot is incorrect, there are actually 56 mainspace edits Zippybonzo | Talk (he|him) 19:56, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. I don't think you have sufficient editing experience yet. Take a moment to check out what counter-vandalism is at WP:CVU, and if you decide you'd like to get involved, you can enroll at the Counter Vandalism Academy to learn more. — TheresNoTime (talk • they/them) 20:52, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

User:Owen250708

I'm requesting rollback rights because I've been doing counter-vandalism and recent changes patrol on Wikipedia for a long time, and have over 600 mainspace edits of which most are counter-vandalism related. I want the Rollback permission so that I could have access to tools such as AntiVandal and Huggle. Owen250708 (talk) 17:01, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

User:DaxServerEverywhere

Can I have the user right assigned to this account? Thanks! — DaxServer (t · m · e · c) 09:31, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Don't see why not (can't find a policy prohibiting declared alt accounts from both having rollback);  Done. Girth Summit (blether) 09:36, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
