Page mover

User:Unlimitedlead

Hi, I would like to request page moving rights. I am familiar with the policies, have had no past issues with moving pages, and participate in page moves on a somewhat regular basis. For example, see: Mary I of England; Liz Truss lettuce; Camilla, Queen Consort; Princess Augusta of Saxe-Gotha; Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. @Unlimitedlead: In the examples you provided above you are primarily just agreeing with what other people have said rather than providing your own reasons. In the only one where you presented an argument (Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother) you didn't provide a policy-based reason and the discussion went against you. Could you please provide some further examples of your involment in page move discussions where you are presenting your own policy-based argument. Thank you, Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 10:14, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm familiar with page-moving policies, don't recall any past issues, and the need arises commonly enough for me to make this request (see my moves today to follow a MOS guideline). Already a file mover. Double sharp (talk) 15:12, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I sometimes revert moves done without consensus, as well as draftify pages, and thus the page mover right would make the process cleaner. LilianaUwU (talk / contribs) 04:23, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I regularly draftify articles. I sometimes go for WP:RM/TR for uncontroversial moves. This perm would allow lesser work for others. I'm aware of the page move policies and guidelines — DaxServer (t · m · c) 11:29, 24 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have been editing for a few years now, and much of my new contribution material is already described in much less detail in existing articles, so I often need to move newly-created articles over existing redirects with a few edits in their edit history. Having the page mover right would make this process much cleaner. I am familiar with page naming policies and the requested moves page. Highway 89 (talk) 17:03, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
