See Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Reviewers#Guidelines for granting for the granting guidelines. Guidelines include account age at least 90 days old, at least 500 edits to mainspace, demonstrated knowledge of page quality control (usually shown through participation in processes such as WP:AFD, WP:CSD, etc.), and no blocks or 3RR violations in the past 6 months. Applicants should show some evidence that they generally meet the guidelines, have a demonstrated need for the right, and that they have read and fully understood the tutorial at Wikipedia:New pages patrol.

I have received the NPP rights for one month a bit less than one month ago on the 27 August by Rosguill. So far I believe I am doing well. Things seem to be in order, but i'm concerned about the lack of deletion experience with NPP as it seems you are mostly only approving well built articles. I'd like to request a temporary extension of my probationary period with the new page reviewer rights. I received the message on my talk page yesterday about the October backlog drive and I'd like to participate in it. However my current permission expires at 00:00, 6 October 2022 (UTC) so I'd only be able to participate for the first week without an extension. Thanks. I put myself forward just shy of 2 months ago, though AmandaNP remarked that I did not show sufficient csd tagging experience (and I am aware this request will flag up as being <3mths). I hope in that time I have built up some evidence of general competency in speedy deletion, as well as continuing to participate in deletion discussions with a fairly strong record. I am a long-time editor, experienced in article creation with an encouraging AfD record and have continued assisting (within the scope of what is possible) around NPP. I can't help but shake the feeling that you are still learning the CSD criteria. That said, you have completed my original request, and most of your nominations are without issue. Just also remember that CSD A# does not apply to draft space. They also don't appear to have any experience in CSD and AfD tagging, and only participating in AfD discussions twice to defend articles that they had created. (Non-administrator comment) Sixth sense is not required, but a thorough, near admin knowledge of notability and deletion policies are prerequisites. While NPP desperately needs users for checking sources in Asian languages, I am concerned that they need more experience and by the fact that reviewing pages is extremely difficult and unpractical - even impossible from a mobile device. (Non-administrator comment) I am concerned that the many recent comments on your talk page may demonstrate that you still do not yet have a thorough knowledge of page creation policies.
