This is my third go at NPP, as my temporary rights were removed by a now-retired admin with no warning (and I strongly disagreed with the manner in which they were removed). Since my rights were removed, I feel that I've continued to contribute positively around the website, spending more time around AfD as of late. I'd like to bring this new knowledge to NPP. I'm an existing (and active) PCR, an AfD regular, and highly concerned with the matters of content creation and editor retention both. As well as clearing out the backlog, I want to be able to help out new users (and turn them into regulars) in a similar way to how I do at pending changes; I don't spam templates, and I write personalized messages to good-faith actors who I believe need help but can make positive contributions. I'm also a frequent article creator myself; having seen the length of time it takes for pages to get reviewed, I've gained a concern for this backlog and want to help cut down on the matter. I have been an editor for over two years and have created numerous articles. In doing so, I know how important it is to get multiple pairs of eyes on an article to improve it and the new page patrol has been incredibly helpful in doing that.
