These nonsense ramblings do nothing to enhance your reputation. They make you look stupid and juvenile. Might I suggest you reword the article and tell us what Swinford is really like? Eejit. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.15.1.10 (talkcontribs) 23:29, 6 December 2006.

Well, I am a juvenile, so what do you expect? #####. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 193.203.148.65 (talkcontribs) 12:44, 15 January 2007.

-Normally im against this kind of vandalism, but just because it was mentioned on "The panel", Ill give you a gold star - Asbad —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 89.100.237.9 (talkcontribs) 16:12, 29 January 2007.

How strange...I just got a welcome message (even though I've been signed up here for a year or so) from someone and an instruction not to be so libelous. I had a laugh that someone cares what shows up in the talk section of a small (tiny & insignifigant - IN MY OPINION) town in Mayo. It's not as if I was editing the page and saying Swindon sucks (or whatever your little town is called). Anyway, read my talk section on my user page for more info. I'm sorry for saying Nazis and all...but libel? I don't even know your real name! It wasn't even directed at anyone in particular! I'll never understand wikipedia - never. It's just too big to expect to make an editable encyclopedia. Wikis are for small groups of people who already have consensus - not a whole world of opinionateds. four Trumad 23:56, 27 January 2007 (UTC) s[reply]

soon after: I spurted water out of my nose when I read that guy above saying "eejit" unsigned. Is this some sort of special fight you have against me? Please explain yourself to me and everyone else, robot guy. Trumad 23:59, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

%%%%Having visited Swinfordtown in the past, I wanted to know a little more about it, and wandering round cyberspace like you do, I had already looked at Foxfordville and Castlebardon and Ballinacity. Those articles told me what I wanted to know, then the next on the list was Swinfordtown, and I found a right load of guff there. Disappointed and disillusioned with the apathy that surrounds this apparent Swinfordian I wanted to give him a chance to redeem himself, and promote his town properly, with good grace, and in the hope that people might visit, spend money in Cards and Gifts, and the other local hostelries, thereby eliminating destitition and famine among his compatriots. Feed the world, share the wealth, thats all I wanted, and lo and behold, I got it, sorta. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.14.151.237 (talkcontribs) 19:09, 27 January 2007.

lol number 3: Oh right, that guy is advocating keeping the swintown article boring and encyclopedic. That's why he's allowed to be libelous. I hadn't noticed. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Trumad (talkcontribs) 27 January 2007.

Site reform

Is somebody going to fix this site up or what? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.41.69.239 (talk) 12:35, 25 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Removed comment about "The Panel" / Warewolves

[edit]

I just removed this comment from the article. On the surface, I fail to see how it's notable, and without a reliable source I don't see why it should be included in this encyclopedia. Any more information about this is welcome here on this talk page, but let's keep the discussion serious please. This is not the place for humour. Robotman1974 21:35, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removed incorrect references

[edit]

I have removed the web references to Tony McDonnell [1] and Pat O'Connor [2]. While these references may prove that they are former President of USI and Law Society respectively, and while these people may be from Swinford, the 2 links didn't show it. --The.Q | Talk 14:46, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
