Water levels restored on May 9th
[edit]A statement that a Michigan State Office had sued and demanded that water levels be raised and they were restored by May 9th was deleted as the referenced article makes no mention of those claims. I couldn't find those claims on any other site. I'd love to believe the claim, but I couldn't find any proof of it. Lobbynoise (talk) 14:33, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
- It's an attempt to write a false narrative. The lawsuit was over incidents in 2018 and 2019, not about the state of the lake in April or May this year. This uncited claim is trying to imply that the flooding is the result of someone rapidly refilling the lake under government pressure, which is nonsense: it flooded because of heavy rain that's causing flooding all over the region. -Jason A.
