:{{u|Bearian}}, I think no. The person only has [https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=9r96FyQAAAAJ&hl=tr&oi=ao a profile on Scholar] and some news about [https://www.hurriyet.com.tr/gundem/abdullah-gul-universitesi-rektoru-istifa-etti-20944460 his resignation from rectorate] and then his [https://www.sabah.com.tr/gundem/2016/11/24/feto-organizatoru-rektor arrest because of his ties with] [[FETÖ]]. I don't think these don't mean that the person notable per [[Wikipedia:Notability (academics)]] since there's not any major coverages about the person. A little help

I am trying to create two articles on entari and gambaz. Can someone lead me to some appropriate sources (online sources, if possible). I also posted to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Fashion. Aditya(talkcontribs) 01:22, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Kesecek Köyü?

Having just created the article Kesecek Köyü inscription, I would like to link to the village of "Kesecek", 25km northeast of Tarsus. Can anyone here help identify the coordinates of this place? Onceinawhile (talk) 09:55, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

FAR for Istanbul

I have nominated Istanbul for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. (t · c) buidhe 04:09, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Could some more knowledgeable editors look at this article? I can't easily find anything to substantiate it, the article on Osman I makes me suspicious that records this specific could exist, and the event doesn't seem to be mentioned in the book Byzantium and the Turks in the Thirteenth Century. It's translated from tr.wiki, and just hesitant about potentially being involved in a hoax... Thanks! Calliopejen1 (talk) 00:24, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
