R. The editor of the channel is Shamsher Singh.[7] Republic Bharat also has the highest viewership among all Hindi news channels of India.[8]

It is also available on DD Free Dish.[9] It is a sister channel of Republic TV which broadcasts news primarily in English.

Ratings

In March 2020, Republic Bharat entered into the top 3 news channels in the genre.[10] In April 2020, it was reported that Republic Bharat leaped to the number 2 viewership spot.[11] In April 2020, it was reported that Arnab Goswami’s own Hindi show ‘Poochta Hain Bharat, Arnab ke Saath’ became the number 1 Hindi news show in its slot.[11]

Republic Bharat’s launch campaign reached out to 150 million viewers of the HSM market.[14][15] Republic Bharat’s outdoor promotion spanned over 700 hoardings spread across 53 cities in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal and Odisha.[13]

The channel recorded a reach of 73 million in week 6 of BARC data (Market: All India, TG: NCCS 15+, Time band: All time band).[16]
