The Hunger is a book by Lincoln Townley is a memoir published by Simon & Schuster 22 May 2014. The book is about the life of writer and prolific figurative artist Lincoln Townley during his time in London's Soho during 2009 to 2012 where he ran strip clubs and organised private sex parties for City bankers spending his downtime painting very explicit oil paintings in his flat in Old Compton Street. Townley is a prolific contemporary figurative artist and reformed alcoholic living between Cheshire and London and is married to actress Denise Welch.
