Seekarajapuram is a village panchayat located in the Walajah taluk of Ranipet district in Tamil Nadu, India. It is located around 121 km (75 mi) away from Chennai.

It is located in the banks of ponnai river. It is believed that seekarajapuram was once a vilava kadu(Aegle marmelos forest) and there was a suyambu lingam(naturally formed) and hence the temple is called bala vilvanatheshwarar temple. Well known sales person diwakar lived his early life.
