Gadaipur, Mehrauli, is a village in the South Delhi district of New Delhi. It is one of the greenest and pollution-free area in Delhi. It is also considered one of the posh localities and has best farmhouses to stay in Delhi. Due to high standards of living and higher economy rate of people of this area, it is considered the area of rich and famous people for their luxury living. Most of the diplomats, corporate houses, media houses, ex-governors, businessmen and politicians prefer to live in this area. Earlier it was a village of Muslims who got migrated to Pakistan. A demand of changing this village's name from gadaipur to other name has been raised many times.

It is also near to the famous South Delhi Market like Vasant Kunj Malls, Saket Malls, South Extension, Greater Kailash etc. It has direct metro connectivity, and the nearest metro station is Chattarpur.

Mainly Sindhi, Jatav and Valmiki people have been living here since independence. Sindhi people hold large parts of land in this village. They are rich and educated people in this area. Nowadays, many apartments have been made here that enables outer people to live in this village. There is one unique apartments / building named Gadaipur Galaxy Apartments society in this area. A well known personnelty Mr. C. R. Bhatia is the President of this society.

It is also very near to the historical places like Qutab Minar, Chattarpur Temple, Etc.

There is also a NCC (National Cadet) in which many students come from many parts of Delhi.

Apart from this, there is a religious place called Gobind Sadan, which was established in 1967 by Baba Virsa Singh ji. This place is based on the ideology and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh Guru, which are- Kirat Karo ( do hard work) Naam Japo (Meditate on God) and Vandd Chhko ( share what you earn). This place has places of worship for all religions. They have Gurudwara, Hawankund, Mosque, Jesus's Place, Temples of Hindu Deities, Buddha Meditation Hall and many other places. They have visitors from all sections of society.
