23°58′12″N 84°11′10″E / 23.970°N 84.186°E / 23.970; 84.186 Polpol is a village of Palamau district, situated 16 km from the nearest district town Daltonganj. National highway 39 crosses this village. Betla national park is in its neighbourhood. Neighbour villages are Barewa, Sarja, Pokhraha, Lahlahe, Sinduriya, Jhabar, Nawadih, Dhamdhamwa, Kechki and Dubiyakharh. It has a bank, govt and private schools and a weekly market.
