Hannan is the founder chairman and professor of the Department of Pharmacy, North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh currently working as a full-time professor in the East West University, Dhaka. He has over 17 years of teaching and research experience. He published a textbook on pharmaceutical statistics. - Biochemical feature of Bangladeshi Young Diabetic subjects.
- Glycemic status of foods specially made for diabetic patients.
