Yamini Aiyar is President and Chief Executive of the Centre for Policy Research (CPR), New Delhi, policy research think tank. She was appointed President in 2017, and was previously a senior research fellow and founder, in 2008, of the Accountability Initiative (AI) at the centre.[1][2]
Early life
Yamini Aiyar did her BA in philosophy at St. Stephen's College, Delhi and then an MA in social and political science at the University of Cambridge, and an MSc in development science at the London School of Economics.
She is the daughter of the Mani Shanker Aiyar
Career
Yamini Aiyar worked with the World Bank and the Ford Foundation, among others.
