Paul Grabowsky Trio is an Australian jazz ensemble founded in 1983, made up of Paul Grabowsky on piano, Gary Costello on bass and Allan Browne on drums.[1]
They released their first album Six By Three in 1989, which won the ARIA Award for Best Jazz Album at the ARIA Music Awards of 1989.
The trio's second album When Words Fail was released in April 1995 and won the ARIA Award for Best Jazz Album at the ARIA Music Awards of 1996.
In 1997, the Trio featured on Shelley Scown's album Angel.
Browne left the trio and was replaced by Nikolaus Schäuble on drums for the trio's third album Three which was released in November 2000. The album was nominated for ARIA Award for Best Jazz Album, at the ARIA Music Awards of 2001.
