A New Kind of Blue is the fourth studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Stephen Cummings. The album was released in March 1989 and peaked at number 52 on the Australian ARIA Charts.

At the ARIA Music Awards of 1990, the album was nominated for three awards, winning Best Adult Contemporary Album.
