Kadaram Kondan (lit. 'Conqueror of Kadaram') is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Rajesh Selva and produced by Kamal Haasan. The film stars Vikram and Akshara Haasan in the lead roles.

Cast

Production

On 30 August 2018, Kamal Haasan announced an untitled film which he would produce under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International, with Rajesh Selva directing, while Vikram and Akshara Haasan (Kamal's daughter) would star.[2] Srinivas R. Gutha was announced as the cinematographer.[3] The film, which would be co-produced by Trident Arts, began filming on the same day.[4] The film's title Kadaram Kondan and first look poster were revealed on 6 November, the eve of Kamal Haasan’s birthday.[5] The film was shot in Kuala Lumpur for a month,[6] where the shooting schedule ended in late November.[3] Principal photography ended on 9 January 2019, with the exception of a song sequence and "a few patch works".[7]

Soundtrack

The soundtrack will be composed by Ghibran, continuing his association with the director who earlier directed Thoongaa Vanam.[2]

Release

Kadaram Kondan is expected to be released in theatres in April 2019.[8]
