Monirul Islam (born c. 1943) is a Bangladeshi-Spanish artist.[1][2] He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 1999 by the Government of Bangladesh.[3]
Education and career
Islam was born in Chandpur District.[4] He studied the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka during 1966-1969.[2] With a scholarship in cultural relations, he graduated on mural paintings from Madrid Academy of Fine Arts.[2]
