=== Statement by Bsmith96 === |

We have attempted to make edits and changes to The Daily Caller, all of which has been deleted by the Snooganssnoogans. Simple edits, such as new members of the team were denied repeatedly by this user, many times with sarcastic comments. (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Daily_Caller&action=history, See 12:16 Sept 20th edit for which he denied an edit of TheDailyCaller as a reputable news source, listing the reason as:(Undid revision 860397583 by Sbjm914 (talk) reputable news orgs dont tend to associate with white supremacists) Looking at his user page and edit history shows a strong history of attacking conservative sites and conservative figures within Wikipedia, as this individual even boasts the complaints against him on his page. We do not believe we can reach a resolution with someone with a clear agenda to harm these pages, rather than offer an unbiased view, as should be the goal of any wiki editor. |

I see absolutely no discussion of this dispute by Bsmith96 on Talk:The Daily Caller -- in fact no edits by that editor to the talk page at all, so this is obviously not ripe for arbitration.parabrPeripherally, it of interest that Bsmith96's edits have been of such a nature that two editors -- Snooganssnoogans and K.e.coffman -- were moved to inquire if Bsmith96 was in some way connected to The Daily Caller, to which the answer was "No". :Also, why does Bsmith96 refer to themselves <s>in the third person above,</s> as "We"? Is this a role account? Beyond My Ken (talk) 23:04, 6 November 2018 (UTC) |

Not sure if it's worth commenting here but either way Speedy Decline - Bsmith96 has made no edits to any talkpage or user talkpage (apart from there own) since being here, Arbcom is a last resort not the first. –<span style="color: blue;">Davey</span><span style="color: orange;">2010</span><span style="color: navy;">Talk</span> 23:16, 6 November 2018 (UTC) |

Use this page to request the committee open an arbitration case. To be accepted, an arbitration request needs 4 net votes to "accept" (or a majority). Arbitration is a last resort. WP:DR lists the other, escalating processes that should be used before arbitration. The committee will decline premature requests. Requests may be referred to as "case requests" or "RFARs"; once opened, they become "cases". Before requesting arbitration, read the arbitration guide to case requests. Then click the button below. Complete the instructions quickly; requests incomplete for over an hour may be removed. Consider preparing the request in your userspace. To request enforcement of an existing arbitration ruling, see Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement. To clarify or change an existing arbitration ruling, see Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Clarification and Amendment. This page is for statements, not discussion.
