Kavacha is an upcoming Indian Kannada-language thriller film directed by G. V. R. Vasu (in his directorial debut) and produced by M. V. V. Satyanarayana. It is a remake of the 2016 Malayalam film Oppam. The film stars Shiva Rajkumar, Isha Koppikar, Baby Meenakshi, Vasishta Simha, Tabala Nani and Ravikale.

Production
In November 2016, Priyadarshan confirmed that a Kannada remake of his Malayalam directorial venture Oppam would star Shiva Rajkumar as the male lead.[2] The remake, titled Kavacha, is produced by M. V. V. Satyanarayana and marks the directorial debut of G. V. R. Vasu. Isha Koppikar was cast as a police officer,[1] while Baby Meenakshi was chosen to reprise her role from the original.[3] Principal photography began in November 2017,[4] and ended in early August 2018.[1]
