Mr. Sampath is a 1972 Tamil-language satirical film directed by Cho Ramaswamy, who also stars as the title character. It is based on the R. K. Narayan novel Mr. Sampath – The Printer of Malgudi (1949). The film also stars Manorama and has music composed by M. S. Viswanathan.

Mr. Sampath is based on the novel Mr. Sampath – The Printer of Malgudi by R. K. Narayan.[2][3] Besides directing, Cho Ramaswamy also starred as the title character.[4] The music of the film was composed by M. S. Viswanathan.[5]

Release

Mr. Sampath was released on 13 April 1972.[6]
