Anthony Soubervie (born 24 April 1984 in Cayenne, French Guiana) is a footballer from French Guiana who plays for FC Chambly of the French Championnat National as of 2016. A product of the FC Bordeaux youth academy, he was former teammates with Mathieu Valbuena,[2] Rio Mavuba[1] and Marouane Chamakh.[1]

Early Life

Soubervie begun football at the age of 5.[1]

Career

With FC Rouen in 2012-13, Soubervie helped them achieve a place in promotion to the Ligue 2 but the club went bankrupt and were relegated to the Division d' Honneur.[1]

Looking for a right-back, then SR Colmar coach Didier Ollé-Nicolle contacted Soubervie, whom he knew from his FC Rouen days, knowing he would adapt well to the club.[3] He then signed for them,[3] accumulating four goals and seven assists that season.[1]

Through his career, the right-back has specialized in free-kicks and set-pieces from his days with OGC Nice.[1]

His main aim is to secure a contract with a Ligue 2 team or abroad.[1]
