Diplomatic missions in Israel refers to foreign embassies and consulates in Israel. There are currently over 86 embassies in Tel Aviv and the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area (not including honorary consulates).
Previously some states maintained embassies in Jerusalem, but currently they are all relocated to Tel Aviv with the last post-1982 being these of Costa Rica and El Salvador whose relocation was announced in August 2006.[1]
On December 6, 2017 United States President Donald Trump announced that the US Embassy to Israel would be moved to Jerusalem.[2]

Jerusalem
The countries which operate Consulates to Jerusalem, generally do not regard them as diplomatic missions to Israel or Palestinian Authority, but as diplomatic missions to Jerusalem as corpus separatum. Most of the countries with consulates in Jerusalem have separate embassies in Tel Aviv that are accredited to Israel. However, a small number of countries do operate diplomatic missions for Israel or the Palestinian Authority in Jerusalem.
