Joseph Matthew "Joe" Alwyn (born 21 February 1991) is a British film and theatre actor, known for playing the titular role in the war film Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk.
Early life
Alwyn was born in Crouch End, North London and graduated from National Youth Theatre in 2009, and then joined University of Bristol to study Bachelor of Arts in English and Drama.[1][2] He is also a graduate in BA Acting from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.[2]
