Iris iberica is pronounced as EYE-ris eye-BEER-ee-kuh,[3] and is commonly known as Iberian Iris,[3][4][5] or Georgian Iris.[6]

One reference mistakenly lists it's common name as 'Chalcedonian iris',[7] but this is normally used for Iris susiana.[8]
